ABOUT US

At ThermoDOGnamics Behavior and Training, our work centers on understanding dogs through the lens of emotional balance, grounding, and nervous system regulation.
Rather than focusing only on surface behaviors, we look at how emotion and pressure move through a dog’s body and how that internal state shapes what we see on the outside. Our approach emphasizes emotional fluency, drive expression, and grounding, allowing dogs to process stress and engagement in a more organized and natural way.
We work with behavior cases, puppy development, and working dogs by restoring clarity and emotional conductivity first, then layering in structure and obedience once the dog has the capacity to carry it.
Carol + Jacob
With backgrounds in training and managing explosive detection canines, we bring a practical, real-world perspective to our work. Our experience with working dogs informs everything we do, from behavior modification to scent work, giving us a deep respect for the dog’s nervous system, instincts, and ability to learn when properly supported.

Our training Pathways

4+ week immersions. Designed for dogs struggling with reactivity, anxiety, impulse control, fear, aggression, or instability under pressure, as well as for guardians seeking deeper, long-term change.

Structured, presence-based coaching focused on behavior, reactivity, and nervous system organization. Evaluation required.

4+ week immersions. Designed for dogs struggling with reactivity, anxiety, impulse control, fear, aggression, or instability under pressure, as well as for guardians seeking deeper, long-term change.
Dogs process pressure through movement, expression, and resolution. When these phases are allowed to unfold in the right order, energy organizes, tension releases, and the nervous system settles naturally. When the sequence is rushed, skipped, or forced, pressure has nowhere to go and behavior begins to fragment.
Our work is about restoring that natural flow. We begin by creating grounding, allow expression to move outward, and guide engagement through movement until the dog can settle back into balance. Nothing is forced. Each phase prepares the next. When the system is supported correctly, clarity follows.
